LECTURE 14 March 2008

The Franco British Union of Architects is marking the centenary of the Franco British Exhibition, held at White City, London in 1908, by holding a lecture about the Exhibition on Friday 14 March at the Louise T Blouin Institute, 3 Olaf Steet, London W11 4BE (near Latimer Road underground station). The lecture will be given by architect Johnny Devas at 6.30pm and will be followed by a reception, when it will also be possible to see the current exhibition at the Institute entitled ‘Richard Meier – Art and Architecture’. Events this March

There will be a Reception at Chelsea Future Space, Grosvenor Waterside (architects Allies and Morrison and others), Chelsea Bridge Road, London SW1 on Friday 16th March Commencing at 6.00pm followed by supper at the Sloane Club.

On Saturday 17th March there will be an organised visit to the new School of Slavonic Studies (architects Short & Associates) at University College London followed by lunch at Heal’s Restaurant in Tottenham Court Road.

Both events are only open to members of FBUA and their guests. Tickets available from the Hon.
